Your studio’s data

Last updated September 30, 2026

This page is for studios that use queued: what we keep about your studio, who can see it, and what we will never do with it. (Your guests have their own privacy page on your order form.)

Our promise, in plain words

What we keep about your studio

Who can see it

Your customers' information

When a guest orders from you, you're the one collecting their information, and we look after it on your behalf. We use it only to run your orders: showing it on your queue board and labels, and sending the confirmation and ready-for-pickup messages you've turned on. You decide what your order form asks for and which messages go out. If you text your guests, you're responsible for having their permission and for your own texting provider's rules.

Combined, anonymous numbers

We may look at combined numbers across all studios, like the total orders placed on queued, to understand how the product is used and make it better. These never name your studio or any guest, and they're never shared in a way that could identify you.

Where it's stored and how it's protected

Companies that help us run queued

We use a few service providers, only to run the service: Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in), Stripe (payments), our email provider (order emails), the texting provider you connect, if any (Twilio or ClickSend), and BoldSign if you send documents for signature. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

Taking your data with you, and deleting it

The retention rules below take effect November 1, 2026.

Changes to this page

If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your studio's data, we'll tell you by email or in your admin before it takes effect.
